I have melted down scrap roofers lead and purified it using saw dust and wax to give a very pure lead ingot of aprox 1lb in weight - these are perfect for casting lead bullets  - to harden them up simpley add tin, antimony to range scrap from other bullets.
 
I cast them in 1lb lee ingots so the weight is approx 1lb i make no guarantee of the weight it may be over or under slightley
